::Good place to hold informal meetings. The prices are on higher side. Popular place among NGO people.

::Always on point. Shakes, drinks, salads and a wee internet lounge for business people on the go. Toilet always clean. Books to read. Serene environment. Professional waiters too.

::I like Salamander because it offers something different from what every other lounge/cafe or chill spot in Abuja brings. It's quiet, genuinely chill and the ambience is perfect if you need a place to be alone with your thoughts, read a book or do some work. It also has a makeshift bookstore on the ground floor which further contributes to its unique vibe. My major gripe with Salamander is with its pricing. It easily costs twice as much to eat there and even the drinks are on the high side price-wise. The cost is the only reason it doesn't get five stars.

::Salamander is nice looking and has been well maintained over the years. The only thing they haven't seemed to get right is the wait time on their food (which can be up to an hour!)... If you are not in a hurry, by all means you can browse through the bookshop for the next addition to your library whilst you wait...They carry quite good Nigerian titles. A couple of book clubs also meet here. All in all a lovely space especially for drinks but if you were looking for a quick dinner, you might want to look elsewhere... 😏
