::The Amala Place is living on past glory. The rice and beans was not nice and one staff was very discourteous. I definitely won't be coming back.

::The ofada sauce is one of the best. Recently, the abula has become very watery and I personally appeal to the management to work on the menu and ensure that consumers get value for money it's spending. Secondly there should be a customer care number for customers to complain and compliment. Thank you

::If you're looking for a place to have home made national meals (Amala, Pounded Yam, Eba/Garri, Semo, Ofada etc), Amala Place is the place. It checks all the boxes if you are about the tasty meals and not big on chic environment. Not to mean the environment is dirty, its just normal/local, but could be busy with people. Amala serves a wide variety of affordable meals with ample parking. The staff are almost always looking overworked, which may be understandable considering how busy it can get there. So don't look forward to smiling faces, just anticipate a nice and tasty meal & know what you want before it gets your turn so you don't get more extreme, uninviting looks.
