It's so well maintained. I love how calm and relaxing it is during the week. Its the perfect get away from the office during work hours. And for creatives, you may get A LOT of work done there. Avoid weekends and public holidays though, it becomes a circus. I have an issue with the staff begging though, and they get pretty rude when you refuse to give them any money. And there's the issue of the sellers outside the gate hollering and sometimes being rude. .I still love the place though.

This place is truly a gem in Abuja. Those who grew up in Abuja know of Millennium Park as the premier holiday location for family picnics and such, I am just so so happy that the park is still in such good condition. I believe it is one of very few public-use spaces that is still being kept in good condition. I visited on a weekday, so the space wasn't crowded at all. But I had some difficulty finding the entrance. I think it has moved, the massive gates are probably only used on holidays or maybe not at all. Security measures have changed Abuja a lot. I even asked some police officers and they didn't know the entranceπŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Nonetheless, there is now seating (bamboo benches, they're pretty freaking awesome) underneath some trees near the fountain walk. And the children's play area (it isn't new to locals) but it was new for me. Overall, still one of Abuja's most beautiful places

This is a wonderful park for family. Recently I got to know it can be used for any type of occasion and guess what? It's free of charge! So if you want to picnic, party or do your wedding reception, Millennium Park is the place to go. And the good thing is that it is heavily guarded by armed police men.

This has to be my favourite place in all of Abuja. It's serenity right in the heart of the city is amazing. If you love nature, and the quiet calm, then this is the place for you.
